1940’s Snyder Wooden Folding Chairs


Available 10. These charming vintage wood folding stadium seats are perfect for an event, or just to have a few to use as extra seating when you have guests. Priced individually. They were made by the Snyder Chair Co. in Pennsylvania which later became the Palmer Snyder Furniture Co. and produced this model of the chair until 2004 when they were discontinued. The chairs are mostly fastened with flat-head screws. Philips head screws first saw use in the 1940s. So, while there was a period when both screw-types were in use, these chairs were probably produced during or prior to the 1940s. Some of the chairs were re-fastened with Philips head screws over the years as they needed maintenance
